CASE STUDY: KENT LAW SOCIETY
KENT LAW SOCIETY CASE STUDY
SERVICES: WEBSITE
Kent Law Society (KLS), established in 1818, is one of the oldest Law Societies in the country and has a prestigious reputation, with many KLS Presidents going on to become Presidents of the Law Society of England and Wales. However, the KLS website did not reflect the Society’s influence or reach, nor was it a useful online tool for its members.
As one of the most active Law Societies in the country, KLS is passionate about promoting the interests of the Kent legal profession and fostering a collaborative community through its events and initiatives. They also wanted to use the website to both recruit new members and maintain strong relationships with existing ones.
To help achieve this goal, Orion Legal Marketing audited the KLS website to identify ways to improve its effectiveness. This included mapping the journey to see how easy it was to navigate the site to access key information. We also reviewed the existing site’s look and feel and suggested ways to improve how KLS’s visual identity is portrayed, mindful of their commitment to diversity and inclusion. We also wanted to raise the prominence of the KLS membership packages, social, training, and networking events, and news from across the region.
The new website is professional, modern and aligned with the KLS brand personality. The site is both aesthetically pleasing and welcoming. We also wanted to make it functional so visitors could easily navigate the site and find the information they were looking for. We also ensured it loaded quickly and offered improved usability across all devices. We also incorporated far more calls to action on the site to encourage visitor engagement.
