Martin Cockx was a successful solicitor who founded Injury Lawyers 4U. After his early retirement, he wanted to run a business helping other solicitors transition into life after law, but his current website was not performing well, and he needed help to get his vision off the ground.

When Martin Cockx retired from his career as a high-profile personal injury litigator, he thought his transition into retirement would be easy. In reality, it was self-destructive both mentally and physically. Keen to ensure other lawyers didn’t follow the same path, he set up Life After Law – a holistic wellness programme. However, his website was not performing well, and he needed help to showcase his lifestyle programme to his target audience.
How Orion Legal Marketing Helped
Martin approached Rachel Tombs, whom he knew by reputation, because, as an ex-solicitor herself, he felt she would understand what he was trying to achieve.
Rachel and the Orion Legal Marketing team audited his current website and explained why it was not optimised to generate leads. They then went through the process of structuring and building a new site, writing copy in a language that resonated with the target audience.
The team also advised Martin on his LinkedIn company page and personal profile, as these would be key as part of his business development campaign. This included rewriting his profile and designing a LinkedIn banner that would extend the branding from his website.
The Result
The website and revised LinkedIn profiles have only recently gone live, but Martin is already securing meetings with key individuals who he is confident will become clients.
