Karen has worked in public relations for legal and professional services firms for over 25 years- working with both city law firms and national practices.
She started her career as a stockbroker in the City, but moved into public relations and became a director at two leading City and Corporate PR Consultancies where she headed their professional services divisions and directed the PR strategies for a range of law firms, surveying practices, accountants and financial services firms. She then worked in- house at two legal practices for over ten years, before returning to a career of freelance consultancy.
Karen’s deep knowledge of the legal and other professional sectors has given her strong relationships with a raft of media including legal, real estate, city and other sector press, many of whom she has worked with for several years. This has meant she is well placed to advise solicitors and barristers on all their communication needs, both externally and internally, whether through traditional channels or online media.
As well as advising on strategy, Karen has a hands-on approach to PR for those that she works for.
