The creation of a new website for Christopher Cant, a specialist property barrister who wanted to showcase his thought leadership and demonstrate his niche expertise to both solicitors and direct access clients.


I had a website that I had gradually added to over the years but it wasn’t my skill set and it showed. The website’s structure wasn’t intuitive so it was hard to find things and it was visually poor. I needed a website that could help demonstrate my expertise and enhance my reputation but to be honest I was sceptical about it all and dreading what I thought was going to be a painful and protracted process to create something new.


How wrong I was! I really enjoyed working with the team at Orion Legal Marketing – I just fed the team what I wanted to achieve and they put it into practice, improving and suggesting ideas as we went along. It was such an easy process and nothing like the torturous experiences I feared. The team really worked hard to understand what I needed and interpret my requirements so that the website delivered. The whole project was so positive and had a natural forward momentum.


The website Orion Legal Marketing created for me has only been live for a few weeks but it has already generated leads from solicitors, local authorities and direct access clients. The website is a big improvement on its predecessor, makes a real impact and conveys information in a much more orderly fashion. The feedback I have had has been overwhelmingly positive, with people calling the website “professional, clean and slick”.

I was so dreading the process but it has been a really easy and positive experience and I have also learned a lot about how important having a good website really is.
